Persons with disabilities (PWDs) across several local government areas in Oyo State have commended Professor Dahud Kehinde Sangodoyin for his consistent care, support, and humanitarian gestures towards their community.
The commendation came during a meeting held in Ibadan on Sunday, where beneficiaries described the professor as a “God-sent” figure who has remained committed to their welfare over time. According to them, Professor Sangodoyin has never neglected persons with disabilities, continually demonstrating compassion and inclusiveness in his outreach.
Speaking on behalf of other beneficiaries, Alfa Abdulrasak Olajide from Oluyole Local Government expressed deep appreciation for the professor’s kindness, noting that his interventions have made a meaningful difference in their lives. Similarly, Alhaja Risikat Olayiwola from Ibadan North West Local Government praised the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.
Also lending his voice, Pastor Akande from Ibadan North Local Government commended Professor Sangodoyin’s longstanding commitment to supporting persons with disabilities. He emphasized that the professor’s assistance is not a one-off effort but part of a consistent pattern of care and generosity.
In a show of solidarity and hope for continuity, the PWDs collectively offered prayers for Professor Sangodoyin, expressing their desire for him to succeed Governor Seyi Makinde in the future, with the belief that such a transition would sustain and expand the support they currently enjoy.
They also prayed for the continued success of Governor Makinde, acknowledging his performance so far and encouraging him to maintain the developmental strides recorded under his administration.
