2026 Chairmanship Race: Belief Outlines Ambitious Agenda for Oluyole

OLUYOLE 2026: BELIEF UNVEILS SIX-POINT AGENDA FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

As preparations for the 2026 local government elections gather pace, Oluyole chairmanship aspirant, Dr. Trimisiyu Agbolagade Olalekan (Belief), has presented a six-point agenda aimed at driving development and improving the welfare of residents across the local government.

Speaking with community leaders, stakeholders, and supporters, Belief said his ambition is rooted in a genuine desire to serve the people and deliver practical solutions to the challenges facing communities in Oluyole.

According to him, his vision is built around six key areas:

Infrastructure Development – Rehabilitation of public facilities and execution of projects that will improve living standards and stimulate economic growth.

Education Support – Promoting academic excellence through initiatives that encourage learning and create better opportunities for students and young people.

Agricultural Empowerment – Supporting farmers with access to inputs, modern farming techniques, and programmes that boost food production and local economic development.

Security Enhancement – Strengthening community security efforts and collaborating with relevant agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property.

Road Development – Improving road networks to ease transportation, connect communities, and support business activities across the local government.

People-Oriented Projects – Introducing empowerment programmes, healthcare support, youth and women development initiatives, and other projects that directly benefit residents.

Belief emphasized that leadership should be about service, responsiveness, and delivering visible results.

“Oluyole deserves leadership that listens to the people, understands their needs, and works tirelessly to meet them. My vision is to build a local government where development is felt in every community and opportunities are accessible to all,” he said.

He also pledged to uphold transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance if given the opportunity to lead.

With the 2026 elections drawing closer, many residents and political observers say the unveiling of this six-point agenda provides a clearer picture of Belief’s plans for a more developed, secure, and prosperous Oluyole Local Government.
