Better Oluyole Is Achievable”; Okedeji Announces Reps Ambition

Hon. Abdullahi Abiodun Okedeji has officially declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Oluyole Federal Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 general elections.

Addressing party leaders, elders, stakeholders, and supporters across the constituency, Okedeji said his ambition is rooted in a deep sense of responsibility, humility, and a genuine desire to deliver purposeful and impactful representation to the people.

He noted that Oluyole Federal Constituency, despite being home to hardworking and resilient citizens, continues to face significant socio-economic challenges, including youth unemployment, poor infrastructure, limited access to quality education and healthcare, and inadequate support for women and small-scale businesses.

Okedeji emphasized that his candidacy represents a bridge between the people and government, promising effective representation that will amplify constituents’ voices while delivering tangible results.

Outlining his agenda, he highlighted key priority areas such as job creation through sustainable empowerment programmes, youth and educational development via scholarships and improved school infrastructure, and enhanced healthcare services through advocacy and medical outreach initiatives.

He also pledged to prioritize infrastructure development in both rural and urban communities, focusing on roads, electricity, and water supply. In addition, he assured constituents of open communication and inclusive governance.

Appealing to PDP leaders and stakeholders, Okedeji cited his loyalty to the party, strong grassroots connection, credibility, and electoral value as reasons he should be chosen as the party’s flag bearer.

He described himself as a candidate bringing fresh energy, innovative ideas, and a results-driven approach necessary to secure victory for the PDP in 2027.

Calling for unity within the party, Okedeji urged members to work together toward building a more prosperous Oluyole, where opportunities are accessible to all and governance remains transparent and impactful.

He further reaffirmed his commitment to aligning with the developmental agenda of Seyi Makinde, stating that his representation would complement ongoing efforts to improve the lives of the people.

“With your support, a better Oluyole is not just possible — it is achievable,” he said.

Popularly known as “Better Life 4 All,” the aspirant concluded by seeking the support, prayers, and endorsement of party faithful and the general public as preparations for the 2027 elections gather momentum.
