Consensus list is being communicated to State Party Leaders

Top leaders of Ibadan South West Local Government have disclaimed an audio circulating in the public domain as well as blogs , stating they did not attend any meeting outside the local government council or anywhere as being alleged.

In a statement, the leaders, including Chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government,  Hon Kehinde Akande, Arole Iba Oluyole Oloye Nureni Akanbi, Dr Nureni Adeniran, Madam Kikelomo Sogbesan Mukeso, State PDP Exco, Pastor Biodun Popoola, and others, clarified that the only stakeholders meeting they attended was held at the Ibadan South West local government secretariat.

The stakeholders meeting was attended by several leaders, including Hon Adisa Adeyinka, Hon Yinka Akinbiyi, Hon Tunde Oluyedun, Hon Abiodun Agboola, Hon Tele Adedoyin, Hon Abiodun Akinpelu, Hon Taofeek Oladimeji, Hon Tajudeen Oladunni, Hon Lukman Adedeji, Hon Kazeem Adesokan, Hon Biodun Alawuje, Hon Said Sanusi, and Adewale Adeosun Asela. Other attendees included Councillors, Supervisory Councillors, Special Assistants, Local Government Excos led by Vice Chairman of the Party in Ibadan South West LG, Honourable Tirimisiyi Ige, Ward Chairmen, and their executives.

Leaders who attended the stakeholders meeting are questioning the motives of others opposing Governor Seyi Makinde. They're asking if these leaders can genuinely claim to support Omituntun, implying their actions are suspect. Allegations have surfaced that some of these leaders have secretly met with the Wike group and Alhaji Azeez Gbolarumi, going against party guidelines and Governor Makinde's wishes.

The leaders emphasized that the publication and audio is a fabrication and urged the public to disregard it.
