Dr. Trimisiyu Olalekan, widely known as Belief, has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the position of Chairman of Oluyole Local Government ahead of the 2026 local government elections.
The Ward 3 politician unveiled his aspiration with a promise to deliver purposeful and transformational leadership centered on the needs of the people. He stated that his vision is to build a more secure, prosperous, and inclusive Oluyole where residents can enjoy better opportunities and improved living conditions.
Speaking on his agenda, Belief highlighted key areas of focus, including strengthening community security, improving access to quality education, promoting agricultural growth to support farmers and boost food production, and expanding infrastructure across communities within the local government.
He stressed that governance should be driven by the interests of the people, pledging to champion policies and projects that directly address the challenges facing residents at the grassroots level.
According to him, Oluyole deserves a leadership style that is responsive, transparent, and committed to sustainable development. He noted that his decision to contest stems from a genuine desire to serve and contribute to the continued growth and progress of the local government.
Belief also appealed to party leaders, stakeholders, community leaders, youths, and residents to support his aspiration, assuring them of effective representation, accountable leadership, and a government that prioritizes the welfare of the people.
“Together, we can build a greater Oluyole that works for everyone,” he said.
