Hon. Mosebolatan Isiaq Akilapa, Member of the Oyo State Youth Parliament representing Oluyole Constituency, has joined family, colleagues, students and well-wishers to celebrate the Registrar of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Dr. Olajide Taiwo Sherifat, on her birthday.
In his congratulatory message, Akilapa described Dr. Sherifat as a woman of competence, dedication and admirable administrative excellence, noting her significant role in the smooth running and continued development of the institution.
He said her years of service have demonstrated professionalism, commitment and a genuine passion for education and institutional growth.
Akilapa, however, noted that what makes Dr. Sherifat particularly admirable goes beyond her official position.
He commended her motherly relationship with students, describing her as someone who listens, offers guidance and creates room for young people to seek counsel and encouragement when needed.
According to him, her approach to students reflects a deep understanding of the importance of nurturing the next generation alongside carrying out her administrative responsibilities.
