The Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has dismissed reports claiming that Sharafadeen Alli has been adopted as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 election in Oyo State.
In a statement issued through his aide, Femi Awogboro, Adelabu described the reports as false and misleading. He maintained that no consensus candidate has been agreed upon within the party.
Adelabu further stressed that he remains a leading aspirant for the APC governorship ticket in the state and is fully in contention ahead of the party’s primary process.
