Free transportation to first ghat road temple in place

Tirumala: The auspicious ‘Hanuman Jayanti’ was celebrated with religious fervour at the famous hill temple of lord Venkateswara.
The temple priests performed special pujas at the Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple situated in front of the main temple complex and at the 60-ft tall Prasanna Anjaneya Swamy at the seventh mile on the first ghat road.
The Prasanna Anjaneya temple management had made arrangements for free transportation to the first ghat road to facilitate devotees to reach the destination without any inconvenience whatsoever.
Jabali theertamOn the other hand, celebrations were marked at the sprawling Jabali theertham situated about 5 km from here amid dense forest.
The ancient Hathi Ram Babaji Mutt authorities who administer the ashram and the State Endowments Department officials jointly made elaborate arrangements at the ashram. Several thousands of devotees turned up at the place and also participated in the ‘annadanam’.
Easy access was provided to the Dhruv, Rama and Sita kunds situated in the upper reaches of the theertham. Besides, hundreds of devotees who had taken the Hanuman ‘deeksha’ on the lines of Ayyappa donning ‘malas’ on Friday ceremoniously ended their 41 day-long ‘deeksha’.
