Padya Dhara competions held at Mahathi



By recitation of poems one can get individuality, power of recollection told Sri K.V.Ramanachary, Executive Officer, TTDs.

The Education wing of TTD has organized padyadhara Competitions (Recitation of Poems) to the students of 1st to 7 th class studying in various schools in Tirupati. The prize distribution programme is arranged in mahathi on November 14. While addressing huge gathering of students, Sri Ramanachary said that the parents have to encourage the children to pay more attention on the mother tongue and its importance. He also announced that next year this competition will be conducted in state level.

Sri Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Member of TTD Trust Board has requested the parents as well as the teachers to teach the children values in the society there by they can learn to live and face any problem in the society.

Later Sri Ramanachary, Sri Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy have presented Gold, Silver Dollars to the winners of Padyadhara competitions.

The details of winners are as follows:

  1. Kum. Revathi, S.V.Elementary School , Tml – 1 st Prize (125 poems), 8gms Gold dollor, Rs.625 cash award, Books and certificate.
  2. Kum. Pujasree, Prasanthi Eng.Medium School, Tirupati – 2 nd prize, 5gms Gold Dollor, Rs. 520 cas award, Books and certificate.
  3. Kum. Yamini, Vinayaka Vidyalayam, Tirupati – 3 rd Prize, 2gms Gold Dollor, Rs. 525 cash award, Books and certificate.

Similarly 10 students have received 10gms Silver Dollors, Cash awards, Books and Certificates as consolation prizes.

Sri Subramanyam, DGM, State Bank Of India, Sri Surya Kumar, Branch Manager, State Bank of India , Sri Saila Kumar, Chief Editor TTDs and others have participated.
