Procession of Kalyanamasthu Mangalasuthrams

TTD Chairman Sri D.K.Audikesavulu Naidu accompanied by TTD E.O Sri K.V.Ramanachary and other Board Members carrying the Mangalasuthrams, New clothes and Mettulu overhead from Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple to Tirumala Main Shrine.

The 4th phase of Kalyanamasthu procession - TTD Chairman Sri D.K.Audikesavulu Naidu accompanied by TTD E.O Sri K.V.Ramanachary and other Board Members carried the Mangalasuthrams, New clothes and Mettulu overhead from Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple to Tirumala Main Shrine. Later the wedding plate has been placed at the divine feet of the presiding diety of Lord Venkateswara for blessings. Later the same plate was taken on a procession to Asthana Mandapam. Speaking on the occassion the Chairman said Kalyanamasthu is a social religious programme which will boost the morale of Hindu Marriage system. He said the wedding sets wich have blessing of Lord Venkateswara would be distributed to the couples on Nov 2.

TTD Board Members Sri Marri Rajasekhar, Sri Ch. Sathyanarayana, Sri Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Sri Kale Yadaiah, Sri Alluru Subramanyam, TTDs Spl Officer Sri A.V.Dharma Reddy, DPP Secretary Sri Vijay Raghava charyulu,Chief Priest Sri Ramana Diksheetulu and others were present.

Something that Game of Thrones does very well is choose its scenes wisely, which is more necessary than ever now that there are so many characters to juggle. We only have a little bit of time with each of them, so it’s imperative that the time we spend with them is as revealing as possible, or moves the plot forward in a significant way. This was especially evident last week, where each storyline moved forward not only dramatically, but interestingly. This week’s installment, ‘The Old Gods and the New,’ was a little more laid-back in its approach, which is odd considering that it featured both the sack of Winterfell by Theon, and a major riot in King’s Landing. These are big events that I guess I felt weren’t treated with the gravitas they deserved. But hey, Tyrion slapped Joffrey again, so there’s that.
