International education fair on May 11, 12

HYDERABAD: The first edition of the Hindu Education Plus International Education Fair will be held at Taj Deccan Hotel, Banjara Hills on May 11 and 12 bringing a host of universities from several countries for direct interaction with the students here. The fair would be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the both days and entry is free.

Representatives from sought-after institutions from countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, Germany, Canada, Russia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Dubai and the Philippines will be present at the fair.

One-stop destination

The education fair aims to serve as a one-stop destination for information on possible courses that could be pursued abroad, covering several disciplines, including engineering, management, medicine, information technology, fine arts, aviation and hospitality.

Information on visa procedures, career guidance by industry professionals, interaction with former students, counselling and education loan options will be a part of the event.

Besides the opportunity to interact with the counsellors of various institutions, students will have the chance to participate in seminars and interactive sessions to be held at the venue.

Seminar sessions

The seminar sessions will include: Counselling on US Education (11 a.m. to 12 noon) by United States Educational Foundation in India; Counselling on UK Education (12 noon to 1 p.m.) by British Council; Education in Germany (2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.) by DAAD; Counselling on Education Australia (3.30 p.m. to 4.25 p.m.) by IDP Australia and Counselling on Singapore Education (4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.) by Singapore Education Board.

The title sponsor of the event, Union Bank of India, will make available details on education loans for students, at the venue. ‘I Care communications’ is the gift and event partner for the fair.
