50 Engineering colleges draw a blank

As many as 50 engineering colleges in the state could not attract even a single student after the end of the first phase of counseling that was completed recently. There are 532 engineering colleges in the state, the highest in the country. Out of the 1,10,337 seats available for students, only 72,555 have been filled up so far. The remaining seats will be filled up by online counciling that will be held from September 1 to September 8.
