Celebration of Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi 92nd Birth Anniversary

TTD Executive Officer Sri K.V.Ramanachary paying floral tributes to the statue of Bharath Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi on the occassion of her 92nd Birth Anniversary in Tirupati on Sep 16. TTD Board Member Sri Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy is also seen.

Tirupati, 16 Sep (C.P.R.O) Smt. M.S.Subbulakshmi, a legend in carnatic music made a great service in popularising of Annamacharya Sankeerthanas across the globe told Sri K.V.Ramanachary, Executive Officer TTDs. He made floral tributes to Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi statue located at over bridge circle in tirupati on September 16 on the occasion of her 92 nd birth anniversary.

While speaking with media the E.O said that Smt. Subbulakshmi was a great devotee of Lord Balaji and she sang so many sankeerthanas praising the grandevour of the Lord. Her songs and keerthanas like Sri Venkateswara Suprabhatham, Sri Vishnu Sahasranaman, Balaji Pancharatnamala etc. are famous in the music world.

Later, the artists of Annamacharya Project performed sankeerthana gostiganam at her statue. Later all the artists and people have participated in nagara sankeerthana from overbridge circle to Annamacharya Kalamandiram.

Sri Chavireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Member TTD Trust Board, Sri Medasani Mohan, Director Annamacharya Project, Sri Korada Ramakrishna, Co-ordinator and others have participated in the programme.
