World Heart Day on September 28

KURNOOL: The Kurnool Heart Foundation (KHF) will celebrate the World Heart Day at Sunayana Auditorium here on September 28, according to the secretary of the foundation P. Chandrasekhar.

DIG of Police Shikha Goel, who is also the vice-president of the Foundation, released the poster designed by the World Heart Federation as part of its public education campaign. The Federation gave “Know Your Risk” as the theme of this year’s World Heart Day celebrations.

The Kurnool Heart Foundation will present the Outstanding Person of the Year Award to Dr. K.K. Talwar, Eminent Cardiologist and Director of Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh on the occasion.

P. Sivaramakrishna, Director of SAKTI (NGO), Sirivennel Seetharama Sastry, lyricist, KRM Kishore Kumar, IG, CID will attend.
