Dalitha Govindam

Naidupet 06 Sep (C.P.R.O) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has conducted Dalitha Govindam at Agraharam Dalithawada of Naidupeta in Nellore Dist on Sept 6 with religious fanfare at the daiety admist chantings of Govinda Govinda by devout devotees.

Speaking on the occasion the TTD Chairman Sri D.K.Audikesavalu Naidu said TTD has taken up the Dalitha Govindam with the blessing of the Lord Venkateswara Swamy to promote equality and fraternal feelings in society. He further informed that Dalitha Govindam was first conducted at Sullurpet in 2006 with the initiative of Sri N.Subramanayam MLA. The chairman further informed that the another important programme taken up by TTD is Kalyanamasthu, the fourth phase of which scheduled to be held on November 2, 2008 in all assembly constituencies of the state. The chairman further said with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara Swamy the state will prosper and all the citizens and their families will lead their lives happily. On this occasion Sri N.Subramanyam also spoke.

Sri A.V.Dharma Reddy, Spl Officer TTD, Sri Ramgopal, Dist Collector, Veda Pundits, local public representatives and large number of devotees were also present.
